Japanese car maker Mazda has ruled out producing cars in the UK, despite announcing plans to move some production to Europe because of the high rate of the yen against the euro. Jan Brentebraten, the company’s president, said the plant would have to be in the euro-zone. Spain and Germany were possibilities, he said.
