Having read Eliyahu Goldratt’s previous books, I picked up Critical Chain with high expectations. Goldratt has a business novel style and in Critical Chain he uses a more contrived environment than before - the main character is a lecturer on an executive MBA programme who he uses to advocate an alternative method of project planning.
