Iris identification trials


Business travellers at Heathrow airport will soon take part in the first trials of iris recognition technology at a British airport. From October, up to 2,000 travellers who frequently use British Airways or Virgin Atlantic will have video cameras taking photos of their irises to verify their passports and tickets.
