Freelancers organisation PCG has cautioned the government not to “destabilise and discourage” freelancers as they search for what the organisation calls the small “rogue minority” of freelancer who do not pay tax.
John Brazier, managing director of PCG, says: “We should ensure this latest scrutiny does not create a knee-jerk response which causes an anti-business public sector that would cost jobs and growth in the economy.
