Food giant Heinz is to source more than $500 million in goods and services through an agreement with its e-sourcing solutions provider FreeMarkets. Scott Allen, Heinz’s chief procurement officer, said the deal demonstrates that e-sourcing now forms a core part of its procurement operations.
