I found this book to be an excellent addition to the extremely important area of commercial relationships in all their varied forms. The book, of some 280 pages, covers a wide range of issues that feature in the CIPS professional exam of the same name. It looks at many areas, including:

Hospital Management and Supplies (HM&S), the medical and surgical division of Alliance UniChem, has announced the acquisition of one of its strongest competitors, Surgicon.
Last week’s Budget was condemned as “crass, cruel and crazy” by the truck operators’ body, the Freight Transport Association (FTA), who added that it was “callous”, “grossly unfair” and “stupidly short-sighted”.
Stakeholder Strategy is another of those books that believes it has a good idea and wishes to spend 200 pages expounding it.

This is not necessarily a bad thing but I sometimes wish authors would realise that not every reader agrees with all their opinions - a little more argument and debate would not go amiss.
