The government announced last week that it is to sell the Millennium Dome for £125 million to Legacy which plans to turn it into a high-tech business park. However, Legacy, which will take the site over in February, told a National Audit Office inquiry that no firms had signed up for the park, despite market research showing a huge demand for sites in the dome.
Q: Not so long ago, the media seemed to be full of articles about purchasing cards. Now we hear little about them. Is it a fad that has fallen from favour?


Trade body Partnership Sourcing Limited (PSL) awarded Sir Ian Dixon, former chair of PSL and construction firm Willmott Dixon, a certificate of honour last month for work on partnering in industry. The Confederation of British Industry and the Department of Trade and Industry set PSL up to promote partnering.


Partnership Sourcing, the body set up by the Confederation of British Industry and the Department of Trade and Industry to help UK companies implement partnering, has launched a discussion forum on its website, www.pslcbi.com/discus. The aim is to encourage firms to share their experience of partnering.
