Started off the week doing what I enjoy most — sales calls. My chat with the head of HR of an international communications company was the highlight.

Leeds-based SVB continued with its quest to be recognised as the most hospitable recruitment company in the world. Managing director Matt Barrett cooked pancakes on Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) for all the team, as well as for candidates visiting the office.

Energy and natural resources executive search firm, Opus Executive Partners, has moved into new, larger offices in London's Mayfair, W1.
