Multi-sector recruiter Eximius group has parted company with director Stefan Pillinger after he was jailed for an incident at a City pub in which two bar staff were injured. Pillinger was sentenced to nine months’ prison for throwing glasses at bar staff after the word ’gay’ was scrawled on his credit card. The company director admitted unlawful wounding and actual bodily harm.

The chairman of Pertemps Group has admitted that his company “slipped up” in hiring a former managing director of a Pertemps group company who lost her claim against Pertemps for sex discrimination and victimisation.
