UK employers are cautiously optimistic about hiring in the next 12 months, according to a survey from online jobs site CareerBuilder.co.uk.

The improving global economy has meant that 39% of UK employers plan to hire full-time workers in the next 12 months, while 47% plan to add part-time or contract or temporary workers.

The state of the economy has overtaken jobs as the top problem afflicting the US, according to Gallup.
