Scottish private sector recovery slowed in June, according to the Bank of Scotland’s purchasing managers’ index (PMI).
The seasonally adjusted index, which monitors activity across Scotland’s manufacturing and service sectors, fell from 53.1 to 52.9.
The index also shows that new order and employment growth both decelerated since May.
Back office solutions provider to the recruitment industry Liquid Friday has appointed Malin Eek as Southern account director. Eek was previously a portfolio manager for invoice financing at RBS.

Accounting firm Deloitte plans to hire 250,000 staff during the next five years as it seeks to benefit from rising global demand for regulatory scrutiny and risk management.
