The site, in partnership with The Sunday Times HR Business Network, is an online platform that connects UK-based employers seeking new talent with a nationwide network of approved, independent recruitment agencies.
Agency Workers Regulations, which implement the Agency Workers Directive, have now been published. The first public view of the regulations have now been uploaded to the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) website. The Regulations confirm that implementation will not begin until after 1 October 2011.
The impetus for any changes to the Agency Workers Regulations would have to come from industry, said Conservative MP Jonathan Djanogly.

Tesco is launching a new recruitment scheme to put its staff’s unemployed family and friends in temporary Christmas jobs. The retailer is creating 6,000 temporary jobs through the scheme.
