Four out of 10 (41%) City professionals believe their organisations will increase headcount in 2011, according to a survey by eFinancialCareers.com.

Almost the same number (39%) said they believed staff numbers would remain the same. However, 20% thought their staffing levels would reduce.

International professional services group Management Consulting Group has “significantly” cut the group’s net debt, according to a pre-close statement ahead of the announcement of the group’s 2010 preliminary results on 7 March 2011.
