The tender deadline for NHS PASA’s (Purchasing & Supply Agency) non-medical, non-clinical temporary and fixed-term staff framework agreement has been extended by a week.

UK jobs aggregator Workcircle has expanded internationally with the launch of sites in the US, India, China, Hong Kong, Australia, the Gulf and Dubai.

The sites assist local jobseekers and UK jobseekers looking for work abroad and will use a pay-per-click model which enables advertisers to pay by performance in these new regions.

The service sector contracted at is slowest rate since September but jobs have been shed at a record pace, according to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)/Markit survey.

Social landlord Contour Housing Group has made Hays Social Housing its official recruitment partner.

Hays will recruit for all temporary and permanent staff over the next two years, focusing on housing management roles as well as areas including anything from asset management and maintenance professionals, trades and labour staff, corporate services staff, and IT and HR professionals.

Most HR recruitment workers (95%) are prepared to be flexible in their working conditions to safeguard their colleagues’ jobs, according to a survey by the the independent campaign Keep Britain Working.

The survey also shows that 30% would accept a pay cut, while 53% would accept a reduction in hours.
