Multi-sector recruiter Initio International has offered internships to four BTEC business students at Brooklands College.

During the two-week internship, students will be exposed to all aspects of the business, from working on the financial side, to having personal coaching with the managing directors.

Business transformation recruitment consultancy Venquis has appointed Neha Parekh as a senior consultant.
 
Parekh joins the firm’s investment management division in London which focuses on recruiting business technologists and change management professionals for the asset management sector.

She joins from Finance Professionals, a division of the Hydrogen Group.

Trading at public sector recruiter Parity Group has begun to stabilise, according to chairman Philip Swinstead.

Speaking ahead of the firm’s annual general meeting, Swinstead says: “It has been a busy time for our group since CEO, Paul Davies, and I rejoined the board last June.

International recruiter Empresaria is planning further expansion into Asia, according to a company statement.

More than eight in 10 workers (84%) are stressed at work, according to the latest Badenoch & Clark Employment Study.

The survey shows that one in seven (14%) workers admit to being very or extremely stressed. One in five of 16-24-years-olds are very or extremely stressed at work, compared with 10% of over 55s.

Nearly two-thirds (62%) of leaders are unhappy in their current roles, while 43% are actively seeking a new job, according to research from management consultants, Berkshire Consultancy.

The research also shows 71% of leaders would consider a move abroad, while firms expect to lose almost a third (29%) of leaders in 2011.

Multi-sector recruiter HR GO Recruitment is to open a new office in Boston, Lincolnshire.

The office will be led by Judy Dyke and will specialise in temporary, contract and permanent industrial and driving recruitment.

International recruiter Hudson has appointed Paul Jacobs as UK, Ireland and Middle East chief talent officer. He will report to chief executive, Catherine King.

HR, finance and procurement and supply chain recruitment specialist Macildowie, has relocated its Leicester-based team to larger premises at Meridian Business Park.

The Merus Court office larger than the company’s former location on Charles Street in Leicester city centre.
