OPD in MBO talks 

Capita is in the final stages of negotiations of a deal with Virgin Money, the group has announced in an interim management statement covering the four months to 30 April 2010.

Law firm Davies Arnold Cooper’s Employment Group has appointed Nick Hine as a partner.

Hine joins from law firm Thomas Eggar where he was head of its London employment team.

Hospitality and leisure recruiter Berkeley Scott has appointed Alan Hogg to head up its general managers division.

Legal recruiter Tailored Solutions Recruitment has expanded its private practice fee earner division in South Wales.

The firm’s latest appointment is consultant Claire Pearce, who comes from specialist legal recruiter Hunter Scott.

Pearce will work alongside Tailored Solutions’ legal director Karen Jones in the South Wales market, working out of the firm’s Cardiff office.

Healthcare recruiter Mediplacements, part of The Placement Group, has won preferred supplier status for the supply of Locum Doctors to the Pro-Cure represented Trusts across NHS South Central.

This new agreement runs in parallel with the Group’s ‘Master Vendor’ contract for AHP’s & HSS staff across the region, which the company has retained since 2006.
