It’s been a quiet couple of weeks for staffing business results.

International legal search and recruitment consultancy Shilton Sharpe Quarry (SSQ)  reported profits before tax is up 24% to £1.53m on turnover/gross profit of £7.02m (up 6%) in its audited results for the year ended 31 December 2009.

The number of new jobs in the City of London fell by 15% in September, according to the latest Morgan McKinley London Employment Monitor.

The monitor shows that while new jobs numbers rose by 23% in September compared with September last year, available jobs dropped by 15% in September, compared with the previous month.
