• Romy Palmer has rejoined Berry Recruitment, almost 20 years after working at the company alongside Carol Grainger and Karen Grillo. The trio are now reunited at Berry Recruitment’s St Albans branch, which covers Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Having worked together in the past, they are determined to develop the branch and become the go-to business across the three counties.

• Built environment and technical recruitment specialist Carrington West has promoted three of its senior team. Kevin O’Shea has been promoted to director of the town planning, property and housing teams. He will be looking to expand the company’s presence in the housing and property sectors. Amanda Ansell has been promoted to marketing director, after joining the company in 2020. Finally, Emily Christmas has been promoted to head of HR. Over the last five years, Christmas has led the company’s HR strategies, specifically achieving Investors in People platinum accreditations for both people practices and wellbeing, as well as The Sunday Times top company to work for.

• Global executive search and talent consultancy ICP Search has added two new advisers to its board. Simon Green has extensive background in global sports, technology and media. He has held leadership roles including CEO at sports media company Supponor and managing director at BT Sport. Dr Jacob Naish is an expert in elite performance culture, and joins ICP Search with deep expertise in building high-performance environments, honed through his work with Right to Dream and his doctoral research in culture design.
