• Specialist finance recruitment consultancy Headstar has bolstered its presence in the North-West with the appointment of Olivia Greer as regional director, as it responds to growing demand for its services. Greer joins Headstar with a decade of experience in the qualified finance recruitment market, having progressed to associate director at a national blue-chip recruiter, where she led a team of 10 experienced recruiters. In her new role, Greer will focus on mid to senior-level appointments in the qualified finance market across all sectors in the North-West, while also driving demand for Headstar’s finance director-led consultancy services.
• Heidrick & Struggles International, a global leadership advisory and on-demand talent solutions provider, has appointed Vijaya Kaza and Timothy Carter to its board of directors as independent directors, effective immediately. The firm has also announced that long-serving board member Lyle Logan has left the board. Following these changes, the company’s board of directors consists of nine directors, eight of whom are independent.
• Global talent solutions provider Kelly has appointed Troy R Anderson as executive vice president and chief financial officer designate, effective 14 October 2024. Anderson will succeed Olivier Thirot, executive VP and CFO, who is retiring as an officer of Kelly. After the transition, Thirot will serve as a strategic adviser to the company. Anderson brings more than 30 years’ experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, external reporting, investor relations, expense management and financial strategy.
• South Yorkshire-based recruitment agency Stafforce has appointed Danny Marshall operations manager for its specialist ports division. Marshall will drive operations across the division, supporting operations managers nationwide, contributing to the growth of the Stafforce Ports brand. His responsibilities will include supporting new site launches, troubleshooting operational challenges, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Operating from nine hubs around the UK, Stafforce Ports finds talent for ports and logistics firms. It is a subdivision of the Nicholas Associates Group of companies, who collectively are a UK provider of talent management solutions from apprentice to boardroom.
• Strada, a payroll, human capital and financial management firm, has appointed Colin Brennan as CEO. He recently served as chief revenue officer at Lumin Digital, a fintech company specialising in digital banking solutions. He will take an active role in building and expanding strategic partnerships to further accelerate Strada’s business growth. Brennan brings nearly three decades of experience in the digital and human resources sectors.
Richard Hanks has also been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) to lead Strada’s global financial function. Hanks most recently served as CFO at Williams Lea, a global provider of tech-enabled, business-critical support services.
