MCG Group introduces new leadership team
MCG Group, a provider of recruitment, consultancy and project solutions, has appointed a new leadership team.
Ford Garrard (centre) becomes the new CEO, Ian Langley (left) is chairman and Jonathan Scott (right) is now CFO.
The group currently has a global team of nearly 300, offering recruitment, consultancy and project-based solutions across multiple sectors, including engineering, technology, healthcare, education and construction.
Garrard has previously served as CEO at Visuna, a global recruitment specialist in the energy and technology sectors, and held executive roles as industry giants Airswift and NES Fircroft. A company statement said Garrard started with MCG in 2023, and has already driven the rollout of enhanced Contingent Workforce Solutions and focused on learning and development initiatives to “create a more robust sales culture”. He has also undertaken strategic senior management restructuring to facilitate expansion and growth, the statement said.
Langley founded Airswift and has occupied key roles at the EPI Group, Boston Energy and Berry/Buzzhire. The company statement said Langley has been steering the MCG Group since last year and was “instrumental” in filling key seats on the board.
Scott’s financial management and strategic leadership experience includes roles as CFO and later CEO of National Car Parks (NCP) and earlier experience at Ernst & Young.
