APPOINTMENTS: 15-19 JANUARY 2024

This week’s appointments include: Acorn by Synergie, Ciphr, Innovate Talent, Nash Squared, Realm Recruit, TaskMaster Public Sector, VIQU

• Recruitment firm Acorn by Synergie has appointed Harry Lambert as its divisional manager for trades and labour in the South-West. Previously an associate with Kingston Barnes, Lambert has spent a decade developing key relationships within the recruitment sector regionally, having also worked with Daniel Owen and Setsquare Recruitment previously. He will spearhead Acorn’s labour and trades activity across Bristol and the wider South-West region.

Ciphr, a UK people management provider for mid-market organisations, has appointed former Advanced executives Julie Lally and Daniel Turnbull to its leadership team, supporting Ciphr’s strategic growth plans for 2024 and beyond. Lally is appointed to the newly created role of managing director of payroll, responsible for all aspects of the payroll business. Turnbull heads up Ciphr’s customer care, implementation, project management and product training teams as VP of customer operations.

Innovate Talent, a division of Innovate Freight, has appointed Kate Edmonds as a talent resourcer to help place candidates into permanent roles within the logistics sector. She joined in November, bringing almost two years of experience within recruitment and logistics.

Nash Squared, a global leader in technology and talent solutions, has appointed Andrew Neal as chief people officer. In this executive committee role, Neal will lead the people and culture team globally across the organisation, as well as play a key role in Nash Squared’s transformation and growth plans. Neal, who succeeds Melanie Hayes in the CPO role at Nash Squared, has worked in people related roles for over 20 years, including within the professional services and recruitment sectors.

• Legal recruitment consultancy Realm Recruit has appointed two new recruitment consultants and promoted three members of its existing team as it broadens its service offering for lawyers and law firms. Layla Jackson has joined Realm as a senior consultant, bringing with her three decades of legal recruitment experience. She will specialise in the recruitment of corporate, commercial, employment and real estate lawyers. Amanda Bower has also joined as a senior consultant and will specialise in the recruitment of family and care lawyers across Greater Manchester and East Cheshire.

In addition, Bill Szajna-Hopgood has been promoted to associate consultant, Lucy Wickham has been promoted to principal consultant and Chloe Whittaker has progressed to office manager.

TaskMaster Public Sector, a recruitment and workforce solutions provider, has announced two key leadership appointments. Jackie Collins joins as business development manager and Helen Whitfield is appointed head of public sector.

• Recruitment agency VIQU has appointed Adam Pettitt as account manager in its account management team. Pettitt will support the growth of new and existing key accounts. He brings over five years of technical IT recruitment experience to the team from his time as a network engineer.
