APPOINTMENTS: 27 NOVEMBER-1 DECEMBER 2023

This week’s appointments include: Calibre One, Foyne Jones, Pertemps Network Group, Samuel Knight International
• Global executive search firm Calibre One has appointed Paul DeCoster as partner. He will head up the new legal, compliance, risk and regulatory practice group and will work from Calibre One’s Manhattan office in the US. DeCoster will focus primarily on legal, compliance and regulatory search mandates predominantly in financial services and across multiple industries including life sciences and technology.
• Building sector recruiter Foyne Jones has appointed Joe Slaymaker as business support consultant to support the company’s future growth. He will be responsible for talent attraction within the business, implementing best practices, business development and marketing, as well as systems, process and AI recruitment and selection. Slaymaker joins from Hays, where he worked alongside the national technology intelligent automation team.
• Julie Ashworth has been appointed sales director at recruitment specialist Pertemps Network Group. With 34 years’ experience in the recruitment sector, she brings expertise in strategic vision and leadership, as well as an established track record for excellence in client relations. Ashworth's career started in an independent recruitment business, before progressing to national and multinational brands.
• Renewable energy talent solutions firm Samuel Knight International has appointed Dylan Christie as its new chief operating officer. Christie comes with 25 years’ experience across engineering and technology recruitment sectors and will be pivotal in growing the EMEA and RoW renewable energy recruitment business, according to a company statement. Samuel Knight has also appointed Ben Townsend as head of energy, Jack Roberts vice president strategic partnerships and Alison Lowrie as EMEA & RoW strategy director.
