• UK senior management recruitment firm Berwick Partners, an Odgers Berndtson company, has appointed Caitlin Tickell as principal consultant. Tickell will advise government departments, their agencies and arm’s-length bodies on key appointments and broader talent management. She joins from international executive search firm Perrett Laver, where she spent five years partnering with public bodies. Playing a key role in Berwick Partner’s strategy for expansion across the broader government and public sector markets, Tickell will work closely with colleagues in sister companies, Odgers Berndtson and Odgers Interim.

• Ethical AI rec-tech Clu, which is currently going through a £1.2m private fundraising round, has hired diversity & inclusion (D&I) heavyweights Emily Lawrence and Rashida Adekunle to grow corporate retention, candidate experience and employer partnerships. Both roles will ensure Clu’s fully accessible and inclusive platform meets the evolving needs of organisations and their workforce, to help drive Clu’s target of adding one million socially mobile people to the workforce over the next 10 years.

• The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Clive Hutchings as a new board member. Hutchings joins the REC board immediately as a non-executive director. He is executive director and founder at STR Group, an international recruitment company formed in 2000 with a collection of micro-specialist brands.
