This week’s appointments include: Astute Technical Recruitment, Made Tech

• Portsmouth-based Astute Technical Recruitment has announced four new appointments to its team. Katelyn Buenfeld joins as an internal recruiter, supporting with the business’ continued growth strategy. Julian Lewis will work with Astute’s Power team as a recruitment partner, focusing on permanent engineering, procurement and construction recruitment. Based in South Africa, experienced energy recruiter Stephanie toe Water has joined as part of the renewable sector’s customer success team. Emily Dennett is Astute’s second recruitment coach, having previously been a recruitment team lead within the public sector.

Made Tech, the public sector technology delivery expert, has appointed Wayne Searle to the newly-created role of chief people officer. Before joining Made Tech, Searle led a human resources team across EMEA and globally for mergers & acquisitions at Vertiv, a source of critical support equipment and services for commercial IT infrastructure power and cooling solutions. This involved leading a multifunctional team in 32 countries with a focus on commercial and engineering capability.
