Investing in Talent ‘evolves’ for 2023 honours

Recruiter’s Investing in Talent Awards are back for 2023 – but with a new focus!

Aimed at both in-house recruitment teams and recruitment agencies, the new categories reflect new workforce development strategies around diversity, inclusion and belonging – from recognising industry-wide initiatives for encouraging recruitment of diverse individuals to strategies around recruiting and retaining talent with specific characteristics.

Also included are categories for best recruitment agencies to work for.

“The evolution this year of our Investing in Talent Awards directly aligns with developments in the workplace and in the very workforce ethos of the UK,” said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke.

“When we launched Investing in Talent in 2014, we wanted to help recruitment agencies stand out as amazing employers. It was hard to bring new talent into the industry, and agencies who were going above and beyond to provide a welcoming, stimulating and rewarding workplace had no way of standing out. Our Investing in Talent Awards provided a channel to highlight their offerings.

“The world of work has changed,” Doke continued. “It’s not only the right thing to do but it is also good business to ensure that untapped, underrepresented and often underappreciated pools of talent are sought and welcomed into our workforces. We want to recognise the great work that is being done and also to urge more organisations to join this workforce revolution.”

The deadline to enter the Investing in Talent Awards is 29 September 2023. The awards gala will be held on 30 January 2024. For more information, please visit the website here.
