APPOINTMENTS: 17-21 JULY 2023

• Scottish water company Business Stream has appointed Gail Cockburn as people director to develop and deliver the company’s new people strategy and oversee its people and development function. Cockburn has spent close to 20 years with whisky distributor Edrington UK, where she was human resources director.
• Employment and regulatory specialist law firm Constantine Law has appointed Eliza Nash as partner, bringing the number of partners to 12. Nash joins from Osborne and Wise, where she was a partner.
• Heidrick & Struggles, a provider of global leadership advisory and on-demand talent solutions, has appointed Jimmy Prencipe to its executive search business in the Americas in its Boston office. With more than 15 years’ experience in executive search, assessment and corporate HR, he joins as global leader for the agribusiness sector and member of the industrial and consumer markets practices.
• Permanent and contract technology staffing solutions firm Primis has made a number of promotions. Sophie Anthony, who has been with the business since it launched in September 2021, is promoted from head of people to director of people. Elsewhere, Anna Rose and Jakson Doggett have been promoted from associate consultants to consultants, both less than seven months after joining. They are both based in the Birmingham office.
• UK-based executive search and talent insight business Taylor Osborne has promoted Julia Connor to managing director. Connor will work alongside founder and director Julia Clarke in taking the organisation forward, and will be responsible for leading the firm’s talent solutions.
• Professional services recruitment firm Ventula Consulting has appointed Will O’Donnell to its leadership team. O’Donnell brings more than 30 years’ experience in the recruitment industry to the company that matches top-tier talent with organisations seeking transformational hires.
