Cybersecurity recruiter InfoSec People completes MBO

InfoSec People has announced the completion of a management buyout (MBO), marking a new chapter for the company.
The cybersecurity recruitment firm transitions the ownership from CEO Chris Dunning-Walton (above left) to managing director Ben Craig (above right).
Under the leadership of Dunning-Walton, over the past 15 years the team has expanded to more than 20 professionals, achieving an annual turnover of £7m. With the MBO in place, Dunning-Walton will continue to support the company’s progress as a board adviser, alongside strategic advisers David Clayden, Mark Schiller and Buck Rogers.
Craig joined InfoSec People six years ago, when he joined as a senior consultant. He swiftly rose through the ranks, eventually assuming the role of head of contract and in April 2022 he was appointed MD.
As the new owner of InfoSec People, Craig aims to enhance the company’s services and solidify its position as the go-to partner for cyber and emerging technologies recruitment in the UK.
Craig said: “I am absolutely delighted to take on the ownership of InfoSec People… Chris’s three core values ‘Do the right thing’, ‘Add value’ and ‘Be the best you can be’ align closely with my personal beliefs and will remain at the forefront of our operations. I am committed to upholding those values as we embark on an ambitious journey together.”
InfoSec People is based in Cheltenham and Bristol, aiming to connect talented candidates with the most sought-after roles in the cybersecurity and emerging technologies sectors.
