Employ Recruitment UK finalises Drivers Relief! deal

Logistics recruitment specialist Employ Recruitment UK has completed the acquisition of Andover-based Drivers Relief! recruitment agency.

Since 1987, Drivers Relief! has supported clients in Andover, Amesbury and Salisbury with supply driver needs. Employ is based in the Midlands, with national reach.

A press statement said that Drivers Relief! has noteworthy driver retention rates with drivers working for them for over 10 years and some from the company’s start.

“As well as ensuring a good source of quality drivers, it is Drivers Relief! compliance processes and monitoring, that attracted Employ to the acquisition,” the statement said.

Following the acquisition, the Drivers Relief! team including current managing director Jamie Stamp, son of founding director Fiona Stamp, will remain within the business.

Knights provided legal advice to Employ Recruitment UK, with Genesis Legal Services supporting Drivers Relief! on the deal.

Employ Recruitment UK has specialised in the recruitment of HGV and LGV drivers in temporary and permanent roles since 2005.
