This week’s new contracts & deals include: Copello Global, Matrix, Salt, Security Watchdog, Talentheads

Copello Global, a specialist defence and engineering recruitment company, has secured an extension of its contract with Aquila Air Traffic Management Services to act as its primary external supplier of talent until 2025. Copello began working with Aquila in 2019, placing skilled air traffic management and corporate service professionals across its sites nationally and internationally.

• Workforce technology and services platform Matrix has bought employment screening business Security Watchdog from business process services group Capita. Security Watchdog is a leading UK provider of digitalised, smart pre-and post-employment screening solutions, an EMEA supplier of background checks and partner to clients across the globe. Matrix helps employers across public and private sectors to attract, recruit and manage their contingent workforce by enabling multiple channels of hiring, and providing access to a nationwide pool of pre-vetted recruitment suppliers.

Salt, a global leader in digital recruitment and talent, has acquired recruitment firm R4S in Brazil. This strategic acquisition expands Salt’s global reach and gives the company a stronger presence in South America. Salt will collaborate closely with its established teams in North America, further expanding its offering to professionals across The Americas.

• North-East talent and recruitment consultancy Talentheads has won a recruitment contract with health and wellbeing firm Vitabiotics. Talentheads was launched by experienced recruitment specialist Sam Spoors in 2020. Vitabiotics was founded in 1971 by Professor Kartar Lalvani and has been run by his son Tej, who starred on the BBC show Dragons’ Den between 2017 and 2021, for more than 20 years.
