NEW TO THE MARKET: 9-13 JANUARY 2023

This week’s new launches include: AMS, IPPR, Unmind, WaveTrackR

• Talent outsourcing and advisory services provider AMS has launched a new partnership with workplace wellbeing platform Unmind to support the mental wellbeing of its UK and Ireland based contingent workforce during a difficult economy and a time of seasonal struggles. Through the platform, AMS’s contingent workers can now access an unlimited range of evidence-based tools to support mental health and wellbeing, including interactive courses, daily in-the-moment exercises and science-backed assessments to help with areas including sleep, physical health and coping with life stressors.

• The SkillsBoost project is launching to enable small businesses in vital sectors across the Liverpool City Region and Blackpool to boost the skills of their workforce by creating new apprenticeships. The apprenticeship pilot will focus on supporting businesses that haven’t taken on an apprentice in the last two years across key sectors for the region including digital, manufacturing, social care and construction.

Supported by the Department for Education, the service will be free for businesses to access. It will be delivered by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) and covers seven local authorities including Blackpool, Knowsley and Liverpool.

WaveTrackR has launched a job advert assistant, which uses AI to write job adverts for recruiters with minimal information given to it. It claims you enter the job role essentials and any extra information provided to you in the brief and the AI Job Advert Assistant will quickly craft an error-free job advert that works with the job board algorithms.
