Angela Mortimer appoints Griffiths CEO of Metronomics

Angela Mortimer, the specialist support staff recruitment agency, has appointed Louise Griffiths (pictured) as CEO of its Metronomics brand.

A company statement said Angela Mortimer aims to license its brand and unique recruitment methodology into new markets globally, packaged via Metronomics.

“Metronomics will be operating across all industries where they are a central services supplier for recruitment businesses, while Angela Mortimer is a recruitment company. They are using the methodology acquired from Angela Mortimer’s many years of experiences to assist companies in setting up and running their own businesses,” an Angela Mortimer spokesman said.

Griffiths has had a varied career in both the airline and property sectors. Over the last 20 years, her work has been heavily focused within the operational side of the businesses she has worked with. Working in airline cabin crew in the 90s and also within the training side of the business, Griffiths trained all crew in aviation medicine, before joining Countrywide Estate Agency in 2002. She has held senior director posts at Savills, Hamptons International and Leaders Romans Group.

This led to her being appointed as managing director of a company overseeing the UK-wide franchise of over 180 agencies.

“I have appointed Louise to take the Angela Mortimer brand from its European stronghold to a global market,” said John Mortimer, co-founder and group CEO. “Her expertise and track record in growing brand equity through licensing of IP [intellectual property] is a unique asset which will propel our company and its values to a new global audience.”

Angela Mortimer employs more than 200 recruitment consultants in its London, Birmingham, Manchester, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Geneva, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York offices. The company specialises in the recruitment for permanent and temporary roles for a full range of office support and executive staff starting at graduate entry through to executive level.
