• The UK government has awarded recruiters Cast UK and Cathcart Technology positions on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) RM6229 Permanent Framework 2 – Lot 2: Non-Clinical Recruitment. The framework looks to suppliers to find and secure talent for government and public sector organisations.

Manchester-based recruitment consultancy Cast UK specialises in executive and management-level talent across business change & transformation, HR, procurement, buying, supply chain, logistics and transport. Tech specialist Cathcart Technology provides tech recruitment services throughout Scotland and the North-West of England.

FDM Group, a professional services provider focusing on IT and operations, has announced the creation of an official global partnership with Appian, a platform that provides low-code solutions for businesses. FDM specialises in creating new talent through its professionally accredited academy programmes. According to a company statement, Appian demand is rising worldwide, and the partnership will enable FDM to support Appian’s customers and partners globally with certified talent. As part of the partnership, Appian will provide resources and training for FDM consultants to become certified in Appian. FDM will then place newly qualified consultants in key roles within industry-leading businesses.

• Recruitment technology specialist Matrix has partnered with London-based hiring technology company Alvius to help deploy the Alvius Talent Pooling System (TPS) across the UK. Matrix says the TPS streamlines the way organisations recruit staff through a combination of people, processes and technology. It provides a neutral vendor service with an end-to-end process in one platform to double the number of people they connect to work.
