JSA Group makes pawfect bid for 6CATS

Accounting specialist JSA Group has today announced the acquisition of the 6CATS Group, a supplier of contractor management solutions to global recruitment agencies.

A statement announcing the acquisition said the transaction had been completed on 25 January 2022.

John Hoskin, JSA’s group CEO, said that his organisation liked 6CATS’ “emphasis on customer service and commercial, genuinely compliant solutions”. He said JSA intended to make 6CATS “the flagship for our international expansion”, as well as “the expected cornerstone” of the group’s overseas growth for the next few years.

Michelle Reilly, CEO of 6CATS, said no staff losses were planned or anticipated, “plus I and the other directors will continue to run the business and continue the… growth of the 6CATS brand across the world”.

6CATS is JSA’s eighth acquisition since Universal Partners invested in JSA in 2018. JSA supports more than 1,000 recruitment businesses and around 30,000 freelancers and contractors.

JSA also announced this week the company’s plans to rebrand, and will become known as Workwell from 9 March.
