XPO Logistics appoints Brown head of HR in UK and Ireland

XPO Logistics, a provider of freight transportation services, has appointed Lynn Brown to lead the company’s human resources organisation in the UK and Ireland.

She will report to Valerie Chaut, head of human resources – Europe, and Dan Myers, managing director – UK and Ireland.

Brown has more than 15 years of experience in HR leadership. Before joining XPO, she served in senior roles with freight management and logistics firm Gist for nearly a decade, with a focus on talent acquisition, development and retention. She holds a degree in business studies from Glasgow Caledonian University, as well as professional qualifications.

XPO provides technology-enabled freight transportation solutions for customers across a range of supply chains in Europe, including food and beverage, e-commerce, industrial and consumer goods, as well as the Tour de France and other world-class events.
