Hotline needed to report umbrella firms’ bad practice, says REC

A dedicated hotline for workers to report bad practice by umbrella companies has been proposed by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

The hotline proposal is one part of a four-point plan by the REC to tackle abuses by umbrella companies. The plan is also intended to ensure that recruitment agencies which use such firms do all they can to protect the rights of temporary workers.
