Harvey Nash appoints Browning as chairman

Harvey Nash Group has appointed Gary Browning to the role of chairman of the board.

Browning, who has been a non-executive director for the Group for over two years, succeeds Mike Branigan. Branigan will continue in his role on the board as partner in DBAY Advisors, owners of Harvey Nash Group, a company statement said.

Browning has a long track record in executive and non-executive roles at firms including recruiter Eton Bridge Partners. He and Harvey Nash CEO Bev White previously worked together at people management business Penna, which was subsequently acquired by Adecco Group and is now incorporated into the Lee Hecht Harrison brand.

At Harvey Nash, Browning will work with the board and executive team to continue to focus on the Group’s growth plans, the company statement said.
