Schaefer replaces Goedhart as CEO at VONQ

Recruitment technology company VONQ has appointed Arno Schaefer as CEO, effective this week.

With this appointment, the company said, current CEO and founder Wouter Goedhart will step back from the role but will remain involved as a shareholder.

VONQ is a private equity-backed recruitment industry firm providing customers including Deloitte, Shell, Manpower and Microsoft with automated job distribution, programmatic job marketing and media buyer services. It also serves the staffing agencies market through its recent acquisition IGB.

Previously, Schaefer has led agencies, digital companies media publisher and technology providers as CEO over the past 15 years including MediaCom, Performance Media, Platform 161 and Gutefrage.net. He has recently worked as an M&A adviser and led Gutefrage.net to a successful exit.
