Atom bank begins recruitment drive

Durham-based digital banking company Atom bank has launched a recruitment drive as it prepares to expand its range of products.

The bank that was created purely for mobile phones is hiring another 20 people into its technology team alongside roles in operations, risk and finance.

Edward Twiddy, chief customer officer at Atom bank, said: “As we grow again we’re eager to take advantage of talent on our doorstep.

“We have provided large numbers of jobs for graduates of the region’s colleges and universities alongside some more experienced hires in recent years, and we remain committed to finding the right balance of talent in these latest tranches of new roles.”
