• UK-based not-for-profit organisation The Fedcap Group has won a contract in Canada to lead a consortium of four Toronto-based non-profit organisations to deliver welfare-to-work services on behalf of the Government of Ontario, helping people in the Hamilton Niagara Peninsula into work.

• Kronos Inc and Ultimate Software are merging to form one of the world’s largest cloud companies. 

The combined company will have revenues of around $3bn (£2.3bn) and more than 12,000 employees worldwide. The all-stock merger is expected to close at the end of March.
