Digital Spy reports the soap’s makers Lime Pictures Drama Casting page posted a Facebook job advertisement last week for extras to appear alongside the likes of Mercedes McQueen, Jack Osborne and the soap’s longest serving cast member Tony Hutchinson.

Extras need to be over 30, based in Liverpool, Manchester or surrounding areas, have a passion for TV, as well as good availability and flexibility from Monday to Friday, and be prepared for early call times at the studios in Liverpool.

To apply, candidates should send their name, age, contact details, a current photo and a little bit about themselves to [email protected] using the subject line ‘EXTRAS DATABASE’.
