Brotherly backing as recruitment’s Scarlett Allen-Horton makes the Apprentice final

The brother of recruitment’s representative on this year’s BBC Apprentice has told Recruiter he is “super proud” of her for making this year’s final.

Following a gruelling interview process on last night’s show, which saw Our Scarlett fighting back tears at one point, Allen-Horton found herself part of the final three after Lottie Lion and Lewis Ellis were fired by Lord Sugar. And in a dramatic showdown, it was Pamela Laird who was given her marching orders, leaving Carina Lepore and Our Scarlett to duke it out in next week’s final.

Speaking to Recruiter this morning, Scarlett’s brother Henry Allen-Horton, who works as an apprentice consultant for IT apprenticeship provider LMPQ, said he was delighted for his sister.

“We’re all super proud of how she has done on the show. It is a huge achievement reaching the final and we will all be rooting for her in the final next week. Come on Scarlett!!

“I’m really looking forward to the final next week. I think it is fair to say Scarlett and Carina have been brilliant candidates throughout the process and both are worthy finalists. Scarlett will be in her recruitment element in the final and the potential her business has, with the investment of Lord Sugar, is huge. Of course, I’m backing Scarlett to win!”

The recruitment sector boasts four former winners – Tim Campbell, Lee McQueen, Ricky Martin and James White – and Our Scarlett recently won the backing of both Martin and White to be the sector’s first female winner. You can find out if she achieves the feat on BBC1 next Wednesday from 9pm.
