Indian proptech firm Square Yards to recruit 1,500 graduates

Indian real estate technology firm Square Yards is to recruit more than 1,500 graduates from over 100 university and college campuses.

According to a statement released by the proptech firm today, its campus hiring process begins mid-November 2019 ending March 2020, and inductions of new employees will start along with the new financial year in April 2020.

Candidates will undergo multiple rounds in the selection process, including a psychometric analysis, an aptitude test, a personal interview and a group discussion. There is also an interactive game, Mafia, which brings out key interpersonal traits in a candidate, such as the power to lead a conversation, the ability to read body language, the power to grasp and make relevant public opinion, and to communicate effectively.

Elaborating on the recruitment drive, founder and chief operating officer Kanika Gupta Shori said: “We want to hire hustlers, who will lead the next leg of growth for Square Yards. New graduates from campus fit perfectly in our dynamic culture as they are in the formative years of their careers, wherein they are hungry to learn, want exponential growth and can work tirelessly, as well as smart. We build people and people build businesses – [this] has always been our core belief.”
