Time for Apprentice Scarlett to get on her bike?

Week four on BBC’s The Apprentice is over – so did recruitment’s representative Scarlett Allen-Horton survive to fight another day?

She did, indeed – but she was once again on the losing side in a challenge that saw Lord Sugar summon the candidates to the London Transport Museum, where he revealed they would be tasked with creating and selling their own range of electric bikes.

The teams had to create a prototype e-bike and plan and host their own launch event, at which they will attempt to sell their new bikes to some of the UK’s biggest cycle retailers. Half of each team headed to Nottingham to develop their new bikes, while the other half of stayed in London to choose accessories and create marketing materials.

Our Scarlett’s team lost this week’s task – and amazingly the garish lycra sported by Scarlett (pictured, second from right) and project manager Thomas ‘still-talking-bish-bash-bosh’ Skinner wasn’t even to blame. While Thomas came close to being fired, having the dubious record of being in the losing team every week thus far, it was Lubna Farhan who was sent home in the ubiquitous Black Cab by Lord Sugar.
