Recruiters warned of tribunal risk when signing off workers with stress

Recruiters have been warned of the risk of being brought before a tribunal if they dismiss staff who are deemed to have a disability after they have been signed off with stress.

The warning follows an Aberdeen tribunal ruling on NHS nurse Jeff Horn, who developed a depressive illness in 2016 after feeling stressed at work during a period of staffing shortages, and was unfairly dismissed...
