Domino’s looks to recruit chief garlic bread taster – down under

Domino’s in Australia is seeking a garlic bread taster at its Brisbane headquarters.

The pizza chain has placed the ad on LinkedIn calling for applicants to spend a day tasting their garlic breads and other products, and be paid A$30 (£16.37) an hour for the whole day, with a pizza lunch included.

Applicants must have “working taste buds” and at least five years’ experience eating garlic bread.

They must also complete a survey and tell Domino’s in 200 words – or in a 30-second video – why they are the perfect candidate for the job.

Applications close on Monday 7 October. Although the ad states ‘Return domestic flights if successful applicant is not within driving distance of Brisbane’, not sure if they’d fork out return flights from the UK. [Can someone apply and find out?! – Ed.]
