Recruiting for sweet jobs in York confectionery factory

York’s food manufacturing sector is to be boosted to the tune of 90 new jobs.

The York Press reports this is due to 90 new jobs are being created at Tangerine Confectionery following a £7.5m investment.

The paper reports the York-based confectionery factory Tangerine Confectionery is increasing production capacity at its factory in Low Poppleton Lane by 30%, with two new production lines created as part of the expansion from October, and new jobs created across engineering, site management, maintenance and production.
