Antiques retailer looks to recruit its own David Dickinson

Do you have an eye for a right bobby dazzler? Then step this way because we have the perfect role for you.

The Mirror reports antiques retailer AC Silver is seeking a ‘professional magpie’, with a budget of up to £2k to spend at car boot sales and paid £30 an hour plus travel expenses.

They will also receive 20% commission on any valuables.

Candidates, however, will need to be expert hagglers, have a passion for antiques, silverware and jewellery, and a deep understanding of what makes an item valuable.

The firm says it would like the candidate to start as soon as possible to coincide with the summer period – when car boot sales are at their busiest.

So if you love a good old ‘booty’, have an eye for a bargain and can get a gem that’s as cheap as chips, what are you waiting for?
