Brits hold down two to five jobs to make ends meet

Around 6.2m Brits have two to five jobs just to make ends meet, according to research from recruitment back office software provider ETZ Payments.

The research released this week reveals 23% of British workers work between two to five jobs at one time to support their income.

The research also shows around 5m working Brits have had to turn to payday lenders or short-term finance solutions due to inconsistent payments from their freelance work, while 4m working Brits regularly miss bill payments due to not being paid on time.

Almost half of the UK workforce – 47% – would actually convert from full-time 9-5 jobs to working flexibly if they knew that they would get paid regularly.
