• Global talent acquisition and management solutions provider Alexander Mann Solutions has appointed Danielle Khan as client services director to support its growth in the Asia Pacific region. Khan will have particular oversight of clients in the financial services sector.

Claire Paramo has joined BIE Executive as director within its HR search practice. Paramo brings with her 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry and 15 years specifically within the HR executive search market. She was previously MD of Movida Search Partners.

Borderless, a global executive search and leadership consulting firm specialising in life sciences, chemical and food processing sectors, has appointed Dominique Côté as consultant. She has 30 years’ leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices and biotechnology.

Deloitte has appointed Sharron Pamplin as partner for human resources in the UK. She joins from engineering and design consultancy Atkins, having previously held HR director roles at Hays and LV=. She also worked as a consultant at PA consulting, and Mercer, where she led business transformation talent and reward programmes for both private sector and public sector clients.

• Executive search and interim management consultancy Green Park has appointed Dawar Hashmi as partner to head up the company’s local government and health practices.

• Video interviewing and pre-hire assessments provider Shine Interview has appointed former CEO of Fish4jobs and managing director of Monster.co.uk Joe Slavin as non-executive director and chairman of the board. 

• Bolton-based recruitment business Workforce People Solutions has appointed serial entrepreneur Mark Mills as chairman.

• Cardiff-based Yolk Recruitment has appointed Gareth Jones as a new business development manager to further develop its footprint in public sector. With more than 18 years of experience in the recruitment industry, he will be responsible for developing new relationships with organisations in the public sector, as well as with charities and not-for-profits.
