Travelodge expansion creates 350 jobs around UK

The UK’s hospitality sector is to be boosted to the tune of 350 new jobs.

The increase is due to budget hotel chain Travelodge’s expansion, which will see it open 17 new hotels across the UK this year.

The locations of the hotels, developed by third-party investors with an approximate investment value of £115m, are expected to be:

• Glasgow
• Gosport High Street
• Letchworth Garden City
• Liverpool Edge Lane
• London Dagenham East
• London Beckton North Circular
• Marlow
• Rhyl
• Rochester
• Sittingbourne
• Solihull
• Swindon West
• Walsall
• Winchester
